Texas animals (snake pic below the cut FYI)
This time of year I worry a little about Zoe being off leash on our walks. She's was bitten by a rattlesnake when she was about a year old and it was expensive and traumatic. So I was a little annoyed when she approached this guy:
I've got no fear of snakes. Lots of respect, but no real fear. When I came back in the reverse direction, he was gone. Back down to the water where he came from, I'd guess. Just cruising the neighborhood, looking for mice.
And then this dangerous animal is IN the house:
Toby collected a group of toys at the end of the couch so I just bought a bed and put it there for him. He took to it immediately.
