A banner day

Dana and I decided that we need to drop some weight.  Neither of us feel good and much of that is attributable to being overweight.  I need to lose 30-40 pounds and she needs to lose whatever she wants to lose (not falling into that trap of putting my thoughts about how much she needs to lose in writing... ).  I love to cook but doing it creatively and conciously every day does not work for me so I need to have a spoon fed diet.  We have a nutrisystem package coming for each of us today.  I've done it before.  It is brainless and actually pretty good food for about $11/day.  Maybe 20% of the food is just not good and will likely be tossed out one day but just following a plan with what is delivered works for us.

In a plot twist our new oven arrives today.  When I gutted and refinished this building I planned to have offices leased on the end opposite Friendly Connections IT.  Then we figured out we should just move in.  I had already removed the entire kitchen so for the past four years we've been working off of a large toasterish oven and various hotplates/induction burners.  It has actually worked well but I decided we need to upgrade.  We'll be here a while and I wanted to be able to bake bread and other things.

Both Nutrisystem and oven arrive today.  My motivation to lose weight is so I can bake bread.  Not sure that is what the diet people would encourage.
