I stopped to think and forgot to start again

A sad day

When I first opened Friendly Computers in 2005 I bought a Krups coffee maker.  I don't even remember buying it but my guess is that it was one of the very first things I bought.

Nearly 12 years later I had to let it go.  I calculate it brewed something over 7000 pots of coffee.  In our first building before we figured out to use bottled water we had to decalcify it ever couple of weeks.  From that point on we used only filtered water and it stayed clean and operating ever since.  It picked up a leak last week that kept getting worse.  Nothing to see.  Internal injury and beyond our local ability to rescue it.

Sad to see an icon that supported the lifeblood of our company go.

It's replacement is on the way.  No doubt it will outlive me.
